Optimize in 1 day!

Via short term options, more commonly known as warrants

Context

Let's optimize!

Remuneration is heavily taxed in Belgium. The story is quite different if you choose for options instead of cash because options are not subject to social security contributions.

The Short Term Plan is an easy way to optimize the variable remuneration or the 13th month.

The options are granted in the morning to the employees and can be sold at market close in the evening. That means that there is a limited market risk of only 1 day (actually 8 hours).

The employee decides when he/she sells the options*. There is no deadline to sell, neither any need to open a securities account. Wait, why?

*Any orders for sale made by the employee will take place through the intermediation of Hilbert Investment Solutions SAS, acting as regulated intermediary in receiving and executing these orders.

OTC options

What are OTC options?

Optiniti works with options and not warrants. The principle is exactly the same, but the options are a contract between parties (OTC, "over-the-counter") and not an instrument officially listed on the stock exchanges. What are the advantages?

  • No tax on stock exchange
  • No fixed calendar
  • No transaction costs

Euro Stoxx 50

The options follow the evolution of the Euro Stoxx 50, which comprises the 50 biggest companies of the Eurozone in terms of market capitalization.

This index contains companies from different sectors and different countries, and hence limits market risk.

Certain actions relating to the distribution and sale of the Options require a regulatory license. To be able to provide the plans Optiniti has entered into a distribution agreement with Hilbert Investment Solutions. Under this agreement, Hilbert Investment Solutions SAS will:

1.      Perform regulatory checks (KYC, AML, …)*

2.      Perform the distribution, including the receipt and processing of the companies’ purchase orders for Short Term Options issued by Optiniti

3.      Take and process orders for the sale of the Short Term Options by the companies’ employees to Optiniti

* The Option Plans are contingent upon the company completing and passing the regulatory checks.
